Formations to look for

The Snowy Chandelier is described as a 30-ton compound stalactite. The Bridal Veil is a column of sparkling white calcite. The War Club is a 28-foot stalagmite with a well-known local story: Bob Addis sat on it for nearly 16 days in an effort to earn a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

These formations are part of a much larger underground landscape shaped by mineral-rich water. Take time to read the signs and guide sheet, and keep to the marked visitor route during the self-guided tour.

Lost World Caverns also lists gem mining, an educational field trip, a natural history museum, and a gift shop. The school field-trip page preserves group rates, while the museum and gift shop page covers visitor-center exhibits and facilities.
